Sandy walks, salty sea air, refreshing cocktails, and the freshest seafood- all of this has a name: Da Nang. Originally, Da Nang wasn’t on my itinerary, but a close friend of mine insisted I had to experience it, and to be honest, I’m so glad I did!
I started my mornings with peaceful runs along the beach at sunrise, watching the palm trees bathe in golden light. Days were filled with some of the best seafood I’ve ever tasted in Vietnam, sipping whisky in open-air bars while making new friends, and even getting a tattoo as a spontaneous adventure.
Of course, no trip to Da Nang would be complete without visiting the city’s most beloved attractions, which offer a true sense of what makes this place so special. The experience is an unforgettable mix of relaxation, adventure, and coastal charm. So let me take you through some fantastic activities that are sure to bring joy, excitement, and plenty of memorable moments
Discovering Da Nang: your bucket list!
Let's Go!

Mystical Caves & Panoramic Views: A Day at the Marble Mountains
The Marble Mountains were the very first thing I did after arriving in Da Nang. I flew in from Hanoi, jumped out of the taxi, tossed my backpack into the corner of my hotel room and started walking. Yes, walking.
Most people would probably call that crazy, considering the walk from my hotel to the Marble Mountains took about two hours. But honestly? I didn’t mind at all. After a long sleeper bus from Sa Pa to Hanoi, four extra hours waiting at the airport, and the final flight to what I like to call the “Miami of Vietnam,” I was more than ready to move my legs. So off I went.
If you’re slightly less stubbornly adventurous than I am, just take a Grab (the Asian app for European Uber/Uber Eats) from central Da Nang. The ride will not take you any longer than 20 minutes, depending from where you start.
First Impressions
As I got closer, I could already feel that I was approaching something popular. More and more Grab bikes, taxis, and tour groups passed me. I finally turned left into a small street lined with food stalls, local restaurants, and marble goddess statues displayed outside on the street or behind fences. I continued walking and finally reached the entrance to purchase my ticket. Standing on the bottom of this gigantic limestone complex, I understood why people like to come here.
What Are the Marble Mountains?
The Marble Mountains (Ngũ Hành Sơn) are a cluster of five limestone and marble hills, each named after one of the five elements: 1. Thủy (Water), 2. Mộc (Wood), 3. Hỏa (Fire), 4. Kim (Metal), 5. Thổ (Earth)
The most famous & most visited area is Thủy Sơn (Water Mountain). What makes this place so special are the winding caves and hidden tunnels carved into the mountain. You wander through mystical rock formations, stumble upon tucked-away Buddhist sanctuaries, temple courtyards, pagodas, and giant stone Buddhas illuminated by beams of light falling through cave openings.
You’ll also notice young locals dressed in traditional clothing, taking photos in front of ancient stone gates, pagodas, and garden courtyards.
Along the way, there are small resting spots selling freshly pressed juices, ice cream, snacks, and souvenirs.
And if you keep climbing? You’re rewarded with majestic panoramic viewpoints overlooking the coastline and countryside.
Stick to the Map - and Bring Mosquito Spray!
If you’re like me and prefer to “just go with the flow,” it’s very easy to a) get lost, and b) accidentally commit to climbing steep staircases up and down far more often than necessary.
That's why I recommend grabbing a map at the entrance and paying attention to the signposts along the way; unless, of course, you enjoy unnecessary detours.
The area is huge! And depending on how much you want to explore, I’d recommend at least three hours - probably more if you plan to take breaks or stop for lunch.
Also, be prepared for humidity. Between the jungle paths and the caves, the air can feel thick and warm, which basically forms a paradise for mosquitos. If you don’t want to be eaten alive (especially in summer), bring mosquito spray or wear longer sleeves. Trust me on this one.
Is It Worth It?
Yes, absolutely. I think it’s something you should see at least once. The lush greenery, the shifting marble colors, the caves & changing rock formations, the spiritual atmosphere are all part of a beautiful experience to wander and explore.
Would I call it a viral, once-in-a-lifetime must-do like Bà Nà Hills? Maybe not.
But it is a peaceful, slightly adventurous, and genuinely beautiful experience.

Above the Clouds: A Whimsical Day at Bà Nà Hills
Now this one is a true gem and an absolute must-do when visiting Da Nang.
I’ll admit, I was skeptical at first. I even considered skipping a day trip after reading that Bà Nà Hills is “more of an amusement park than a real sightseeing spot.” But let me tell you, it turned out to be so much fun!
So what exactly is Bà Nà Hills, and why should you go?
Originally established as a French colonial hill station, Bà Nà Hills was later transformed by Sun Group into a mountaintop resort and theme-park complex. It’s nestled high in the Trường Sơn Mountains, around 1,500 meters above sea level, offering sweeping panoramic views. On clear days, you can even see all the way toward the coastline.
Getting There – The Adventure Begins
To reach Bà Nà Hills, you first need to get to Tóc Tiên Station, located about 25 km from Da Nang, 45 km from Hội An, and roughly 100 km from Huế. The easiest and most convenient way is to take a taxi. You can of course also book a bus transfer and/or book a guided tour (the latter is not necessary from my point of view, as it takes away your flexibility in exploring). From a drop-off point, all visitors are required to take a little shuttle bus, directly dropping you off at the actual cable car station. Walk for a few meters, passing coffee- and ice cream shops, souvenirs and beautiful fountain areas with resting areas (great to take advantage of once getting down!).
From Tóc Tiên Station, the cable car ride up the mountain is already an experience in itself. Bà Nà Hills is home to one of the longest non-stop single-track cable car systems in the world. As you ascend, you glide over dense forests, cascading waterfalls, and dramatic ravines: It’s slightly dizzying, but in the best possible way.
The first station you’ll reach is Hoi An Station, home to one of Vietnam’s most photographed and iconic landmarks: the Golden Bridge (Cầu Vàng). Arriving early is key if you’d like photos without the crowds. I got there around 8:30am and almost had the bridge to myself. Just keep in mind that depending on the season, it can be quite foggy, windy, and surprisingly cold up there; especially during early morning or evening times.
By late morning and early afternoon, tour groups start arriving and the crowds can quickly fill not only the Golden Bridge but the entire complex.
If you fancy, you have the opportunity to equip yourself with some snacks, such as Starbucks Coffee, Banh Mi or a lovely ice cream cone- though, the second station offers a much greater variety of food to choose from!
Continuing uphill, you’ll reach Suối Mơ Station, which leads you straight into a whimsical world of colonial charm and fantasy. Attractions and sights to be found here are countless, so I'll focus on my major sweet spots:
A Fairytale French Village
Continuing uphill, you’ll arrive at French Village Ba Na Hills, a whimsical mountaintop town inspired by European architecture. Cobblestone streets, a Gothic-style church, charming cafés, and small boutiques make it feel like stepping into a storybook version of France.
There are plenty of places to eat here. I particularly enjoyed La Brasserie Restaurant, where I had a surprisingly good BBQ chicken pizza. Prices are higher than in Da Nang, but that’s expected for a mountaintop resort. Bringing snacks is also a good option if you want to save money.
Gardens and Temples
For a quieter moment away from the crowds, explore the beautifully landscaped Le Jardin d’Amour gardens. Filled with flowers, sculptures, and themed sections, they’re perfect for a relaxed stroll, or simply sitting down, enjoying a cold drink and soaking in the sun.
Nearby you’ll also find the peaceful Linh Ung Pagoda Ba Na Hills, where a large white Buddha overlooks the surrounding mountains- the statue can also be seen from Da Nang Beach on sunny days (I was aiming to walk there on my own on day 2; good thing I didn't). It’s one of the most serene spots in the entire complex.
Beer, Food and Festival Atmosphere
Another lively area is the Ba Na Brew House, a huge German-style beer hall where you can sample beers and enjoy hearty dishes like pretzels, sausages, and pork knuckle. The festive square outside, with its fountain and golden horse statues, often feels like a mini European fairground in the middle of the mountains.
A Ride You Shouldn’t Miss
One activity I highly recommend is the Alpine Coaster, a thrilling mountain toboggan ride where you control your own speed while racing down the hillside. It costs a small extra fee but is easily one of the most fun experiences in the park.
Fantasy Park
For even more entertainment, head to Fantasy Park Ba Na Hills, a giant indoor amusement area inside a castle-like building. Here you’ll find arcade games, simulator rides, a 4D cinema, and plenty of playful attractions. Try the claw machines and sit down for a 15min. massage in one of the chairs, it's so worth it!
Tickets and Extra Costs
Most areas of Ba Na Hills are included in the entrance ticket, including the cable cars and major attractions. However, a few experiences, such as the Alpine Coaster, certain rides, or tasting experiences, require an additional fee.
Buy Your Tickets Up Front & Arrive in the Morning!
To make the most of your visit, it’s best to start your trip to Ba Na Hills as early as possible. From late morning onwards, the complex tends to get quite crowded as larger tour groups begin to arrive.
Having your cable car ticket ready when you reach the station will also save you time and help you avoid long queues. If you’re arriving by taxi or private transfer, it’s a good idea to arrange your return ride in advance; simply exchange phone numbers with the driver so they can pick you up when you’re ready to head back down.

Da Nang Beach
When it comes to destinations that attract travelers, the beach is often at the top of the list. And in central Vietnam, few coastal cities draw as much attention as Da Nang. Often referred to as the Miami of Vietnam, the city is famous for its long, picturesque coastline and relaxed seaside atmosphere.
I have to admit that I'm not usually the typical beach tourist. But there is something undeniably calming about being close to the ocean. The salty air, the rhythmic sound of waves rolling onto the shore, and the endless stretches of golden-brown sand create a peaceful atmosphere that is hard to resist.
The promenade along Da Nang Beach is simply beautiful. You can walk for kilometers with your toes sinking into the warm sand, watching the waves roll onto the shore. Along the way, you’ll often spot surf classes practicing in the water, while others relax on the beach sunbathing or playing a casual game of volleyball.
The promenade is well equipped with small cafés, beach bars, and snack vans selling drinks, fresh coconuts, and ice cream, which are perfect for a refreshing break on a warm day. There are also restaurants and public restrooms along the way, making it easy to spend several relaxing hours strolling along the coast and enjoying the laid-back beach atmosphere.
One of the biggest highlights is the incredible food scene. The area is filled with fantastic seafood restaurants serving fresh local dishes. A definite must-try is Mi Quang, a flavorful noodle dish that perfectly represents the cuisine of the region.
During my stay, I made the most of the coastline by going for morning and evening runs along the beach. Watching the sun rise or set over the ocean, painting the sky in soft golden and orange tones, felt almost magical. It’s the kind of place where your thoughts slow down and the world feels a little quieter.
No matter which part of the coastline you stay in, the beaches of Da Nang are truly stunning. And compared to other coastal destinations like Nha Trang, the beaches here feel remarkably clean and well maintained, making them not only beautiful, but also incredibly pleasant to explore.
Dragon Bridge & Han River Promenade: water, fire and iconic landmark
Da Nangs Dragon Bridge, commonly known as Cầu Rồng, belongs to one of Da Nangs's most striking landmarks; a mejestic steel dragon proudly stretching across the Hàn River. The dragon itself belongs to one out of four holy animals in Vietnam (next to the phoenix, turtle and qilin) symbolizing power, prosperity, good fortune, male fertility and the legitimization of the imperialism of kings. Hence, the bridge is not only a famous tourist attraction but a statement of the city itself.
Waking the Dragon: Water- and Fire Shows on Weekends
What makes this steel dragon extra special is that on weekends (Friday to Sunday) it literally comes to life: by 9pm the skyline is lit with a fire- and water show, in which massive dragon breathes fire and then sprays water, alternating between the two, whilst changing colours from head to toe. By then, the Han River promenade is ususally buzzing: locals and visitors gather around plenty of local food and drink stalls, lining the walkway with plastic chairs, enjoying music and small performances. The main roads are usually closed for the show performance but re-open right after.
You can grab a seat at a nearby café or simply find a nice spot along the river and settle in while waiting.
Its a fun little spectacle to watch, even though I must admit that once you've seen it, you probably won't feel the urge coming back again and again- still, it is worth seeing and can be easily combined with a visit to the night market (right next door) or a lovely evening stroll along the river promenade.

Address: Nguyễn Văn Linh Street, Phước Ninh Ward, Hải Châu District, Da Nang 550000, Vietnam Opening Hours: all day, every day Admission: for free (public bridge) Fire- and Water Shows: on weekends (Friday - Sunday), including public holidays |
Da Nang after Dark: Son Trà Night Market
A visit to the Dragon Bridge fire-and-light show pairs perfectly with a stop at one of Da Nang’s most famous night markets: Son Trà Night Market. I’ve been here many times, drawn by the incredible variety of street food and the fun of exploring without committing to a restaurant or spending a fortune. The market is a stone's throw away, unmissable due to its glittering entrance gate.
From 6 pm onwards, the market bursts to life, bringing locals and tourists together for a feast of sweet and savory treats. Walking through feels both energetic and chaotic due to bigger crowds pushing through. You will be surrounded by sizzling sounds of food stalls and a mixed smell of food offerings.
What to eat? Honestly, up to you! You can sample everything from crispy golden spring rolls and BBQ skewers to Thai pancakes stuffed with Nutella and banana, ice cream rolls, or a comforting bowl of pho. Fresh fruit bowls are packed together, cut freshly in front of your eyes, likewise you can grab a nice smoothie or juice. There’s truly something for everyone.
Ensure to bring some cash with you, as not all stalls accept credit cards. And if you need a little liquor shot to digest, several smaller bars surround the market, making it convenient to grab a seat closeby.

Da Nang Nightlife: Bars, Entertainment and Coffee Shops
Much like Miami Vice, Da Nang boasts a vibrant and diverse nightlife scene, offering a mix of rustic charm and modern flair. Most bars aren’t directly on the beach, but often to be found just a short stroll away from the waterfront, or city center.
Along the bustling Han River promenade, you’ll find a lively mix of coffee shops, restaurants and bars. The city center itself also hosts plenty of options, often near popular (seafood) restaurants. It’s a nightlife scene that’s casual enough to wander through spontaneously, yet exciting enough to plan a full evening around.
Whether you’re in the mood for a small, cozy bar with a local vibe, a sleek rooftop lounge with high-end cocktails, or a lively Irish-style pub, Da Nang has something for every taste. And for those looking to dance the night away, the city also offers clubbing options; though I must admit, I mostly enjoyed observing from the outside while passing by, so cannot share much of an experience on this!
Food Highlights & Local Specialties
If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know that- besides intercultural psychology, communication, and cultural heritage- one of the things I love most about traveling is discovering local food. And Da Nang is the perfect place to indulge in a wonderful mix of flavours, aromas, fresh seafood, and fragrant spices.
From regional specialties like Mì Quảng and Bún Cá, to simple street-food delights, the city offers an incredible culinary variety that reflects the heart of central Vietnamese cuisine.
Below, I’ve gathered a collection of local dishes you shouldn’t miss, along with a few of my personal highlights, and, of course, where to find them.
Mì Quảng: Turmeric-Infused Rice Noodles with Pork, Chicken, Shrimp, and Quail Egg
Mì Quảng is a definite must-try if you like seafood! It's a signature dish from central Vietnam, famous for its bright yellow turmeric-infused noodles and rich, aromatic toppings. A single bowl is a colorful mixture, usually combining pork, chicken, shrimp, and a quail egg.

The broth is lighter than typical Vietnamese soups, often just enough to coat the noodles and bring out the flavors of the meat and herbs without overpowering them.
Fresh herbs, crispy rice crackers, and roasted peanuts are added for extra crunch. Fresh lime, as well as chili oil or powder are usually served along the side as well, making each bite a perfect balance of texture, taste, and aroma.
Don’t forget to mix the ingredients well before eating. I gurantee, you'll fall in love with this flavourful delicacy!
Restaurant Recommendation:
Ẩm Thực Miền Trung Hương Quê
📍 26–28 Morrison, An Hải, Sơn Trà, Đà Nẵng 550000, Vietnam
A great spot for local authentic dishes, including mì quảng. I've asked the waiter for his recommendation- if you cannot decide which version to pick, always order "đặc biệt" (with everything) to have the best of everything in one bowl!
Bún Cá Cây Đỏ Đặc Biệt: Spicy Fish Noodle Soup with Everything
If there’s one dish that captures the heart of Vietnamese comfort food, it’s Bún Cá Cây Đỏ Đặc Biệt. This spicy fish noodle soup comes “with everything,” meaning it’s loaded with tender fish, fresh vegetables, herbs, and rice noodles, all swimming in a fragrant, slightly spicy broth.

Every spoonful is a balance of heat, umami, and freshness — the fish is perfectly cooked, the broth rich but not heavy, and the herbs add that bright, fragrant lift that makes Vietnamese soups so addictive. Whether it’s a hearty breakfast or a late lunch, this dish is both comforting and exhilarating for your taste buds.
Restaurant Recommendation:
Quán Hiền Béo
📍Số K47/25 Lý Thái Tổ, Quận Thanh Khê, Đà Nẵng 550000, Vietnam
I stumbled upon this restaurant by accident on my way to the Marble Mountains when hunger suddenly kicked in. There’s no English menu here, but that’s part of the charm. It’s a local favourite for bún cá (fish noodle soup) and other traditional dishes. You can translate the menu with Google Translate, or do what I prefer: simply point at the picture that looks most delicious.
Bò Né: Marinated Beef Steak with Sunny-Side-Up Eggs, Pâté, and Onions
Bò Né is Vietnam’s hearty, flavorful take on a sizzling steak breakfast. The dish usually features tender marinated beef served on a hot skillet, accompanied by sunny-side-up eggs, savory pâté, and caramelized onions. The sizzle when it arrives at your table is almost as tempting as the taste itself.

It’s traditionally eaten with fresh baguette slices — perfect for soaking up the rich juices and buttery yolk. Every bite is a satisfying mix of textures and flavors: savory, slightly sweet, and oh-so-comforting. Whether for breakfast, brunch, or a late lunch, Bò Né is a deliciously indulgent Vietnamese classic that every traveler should try.
💡 Tip: Order it hot, straight off the skillet, and don’t rush — dipping the baguette into the juices is the best part!
Restaurant Recommendation:
Nhà hàng Cơm Niêu 3 Miền
📍188 Hồ Nghinh, An Hải, Sơn Trà, Đà Nẵng 550000
A charming breakfast place, serving Vietnamese meals, home-cooked and prepared with love. Both toruists and locals alike come here to enjoy mainly one meal speciality, namely bò né. I loved the flavour, interior and service here!
Bánh Xèo: Crispy Stuffed Rice Pancakes with Pork and Shrimp
Bánh Xèo is one of Vietnam’s most iconic street foods: golden, crispy rice pancakes packed with juicy pork, succulent shrimp, and sometimes bean sprouts or mushrooms. The pancake itself is light and crunchy, perfectly complementing the savory filling inside.
Traditionally, it’s served with fresh herbs and lettuce, and you wrap each piece before dipping it in a tangy, slightly sweet fish sauce. The combination of textures (crisp pancake, tender meat, and fresh greens) is irresistible, yet can be very filling. It’s comfort food that’s a typical breakfast for locals but can likewise be enjoyed as a snack in between.
💡 Tip: Combining fresh herbs and vegetables into the rice paper, together with the crispy fried pancake, makes the best taste to enjoy!
Restaurant Recommendation:
Bánh Xèo Miền Trung
📍K280/14 Hoàng Diệu, Hải Châu, Đà Nẵng 550000, Vietnam
Why it's recommendable: an authentic place for trying bánh xèo. I went here during brunch time whilst the entire restaurant was still empty. Portions are huge, so in case you're traveling with another person, it might be wise to share one plate, or, you can simply pack the rest for a late-afternoon snack!
Fresh Seafood: Rau Muống Xào Tỏi, Sốt Trứng Muối, and Sò Lông Nướng Mỡ Hành
No visit to Da Nang is complete without indulging in the city’s fresh, flavorful seafood, cooked with love and local flair. Some of my favorites include:
Rau Muống Xào Tỏi – Stir-fried morning glory with garlic, a simple yet addictive green side dish that’s garlicky, tender, and perfectly seasoned.
Sốt Trứng Muối – Prawns in salted egg yolk sauce, a rich, creamy, and slightly savory dish that elevates the natural sweetness of the seafood.
Sò Lông Nướng Mỡ Hành – Oysters and grilled scallops with fragrant scallion oil and crushed peanuts, delivering a perfect mix of smokiness, freshness, and crunch.
Each dish is a celebration of Da Nang’s coastal bounty, combining fresh ingredients with bold, satisfying flavors. Eating here isn’t just a meal — it’s a sensory experience, from the aroma of garlic and scallions to the playful textures of perfectly cooked seafood.
💡 Tip: Pair these dishes with a cold local beer or a glass of lime soda for the ultimate seaside feast!
Restaurant Recommendation:
Hải sản Mộc Quán
📍26 Tô Hiến Thành, Phước Mỹ, Sơn Trà, Đà Nẵng 550000, Vietnam
Why it's recommendable: this place is a hugely popular seafood restaurant that attracts individuals, families or larger tour groups- and that for a good reason! Dishes served here are incredibly fresh, and the attentive service makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The freshly cooked seafood is even peeled for you at the table by the waiters, so you can simply enjoy the meal without dealing with the usual mess. With so many tempting options on the menu, I honestly wish I could have ordered them all.
Tip: make a reservation, arrive early, or be prepared to wait for seating. You’ll be given a number and called once your table is ready
Beyond the beaches: Coffee Workshops, Tattoo Shop Recommendation, Beauty Treatment & Day-Trips to Hoi An and Hue
Beyond the typical tourist hotspots like Bà Nà Hills, the Marble Mountains, the Dragon Bridge, or a splashy beach day, Da Nang also offers the chance to dive a little deeper into local culture.
Vietnamese Coffee Workshops
One experience I truly recommend (at least once during your travels!) is joining a coffee workshop. It’s a wonderful activity that not only gives you a proper caffeine boost but also leaves you completely satisfied, both in your tummy and mind, as you learn about- and get to taste Vietnam’s most viral coffee specialties: Salt Coffee, Egg Coffee, and Coconut Coffee.

I booked my workshop quite simply through GetYourGuide, and it was absolutely worth it. When you arrive, you’re seated at a table set up with all the basic equipment needed to prepare traditional Vietnamese drip coffee. From here, you upgrade your coffee brewing skills step by step with the help of a lovely instructor. Not only will you learn to prepare different coffee variations, you will also gain insights into Vietnam’s coffee culture and its historical roots. Each coffee speciality holds a unique story on how it come into place, making the tasting even more special.
It’s such a fun, hands-on experience, and a great way to connect with other travelers while figuring out which coffee becomes your personal favorite.
If you’re curious to try these sweet treats yourself, feel free to check out my separate article on how to make your perfect Vietnamese coffee at home.
If you are curious to learn more about these seet treat variotions check out my article on learning how to make your perfect Vietnamese coffee at home.
Day Trips Worth Considering

Beyond coffee workshops, Da Nang is also the perfect hub for day-trip adventures. The charming lantern town of Hội An is only a stone’s throw away (around 45 minutes to an hour), if you want get an individually tailored suit, enjoy a lantern-lit evening or enjoy an endless shopping crawl. I personally recommend staying a bit longer (at least 2 to 3 days) but of course, it is all about your personal preferences and time availability!
Next to Hoi An, you also have the possibility to visit the ancient imperial city of Huế. This city can be reached in roughly 2 to 2.5 hours via the scenic Hải Vân Pass. I did not manage to visit myself (yet) but heard from other travelers that it is wortwhile visiting. Especially beach sites are supposed to be stunningly beautiful and relaxing!
Tattoo Shop Recommendation: Lantern & Moth Tattoo Da Nang
I’ve always loved tattoos, especially the spontaneous kind that capture a special moment, feeling, or memory. In Da Nang, I felt exactly that spark. Maybe it was the nostalgic mix of warm weather, ocean views, and the city’s lively energy. Whatever it was, I decided to get a tattoo that expresses my love and connection towards Asia. And I knew exactly what I wanted: a bowl of noodles with dumplings (I love dumplings; I could literally inhale them on an everyday basis!) held together with chopsticks. The decision was made. Now, I just had to find a suitable tattoo shop.
After doing some research for a high-quality tattoo studio, I found Lantern & Moth Tattoo; an Australian-led studio in a vibrant downtown area of Da Nang. The location couldn’t be better: restaurants and bars just around the corner make it easy to celebrate or relax after your tattoo experience.

The studio itself is immaculate and hosts several talented tattoo artists. What sets Lantern & Moth apart is their approach: every tattoo is individually designed for each client, ensuring your piece is unique and perfectly tailored.
Booking and communication are simple: the team is easy to reach via WhatsApp for questions, consultations, or appointment scheduling. Once on-site, your artist goes over your design, makes any adjustments, and shows you the final pre-drawn piece before starting. After the session, you receive a special second-skin patch to help your tattoo heal quickly and safely. I found the whole process smooth, professional, and honestly a lot of fun.
One highlight of my visit was chatting with the owner, who regularly flies to Australia to learn and purchase the latest tattoo equipment, trends, and techniques. It’s clear they’re passionate about their craft, and it shows in every detail.
The combination of a modern, clean studio, talented artists, and super friendly staff makes Lantern & Moth a must-visit if you’re in Da Nang and want a tattoo that’s both meaningful and beautifully executed.

The Most Loveable Beauty Salon:
Getting a massage, manicure, or pedicure is almost a rite of passage for tourists in Vietnam, certainly mainly due to the fact that prices are incredibly reasonable compared to Europe! With warm weather, soft sand, and endless ocean views, it was finally time to take off my socks and put on my sandals, herewith connected revealing my feet- and these needed a definite beauty treatment!
Just around the corner from my hotel (I won’t name it; some experiences are better left unreviewed...), I discovered Bông Beauty Room, and decided to give it a try. The moment I walked in, a very kind lady welcomed me with a warm smile, seated me comfortably, and worked her magic on my nails.
You can pick & choose what works best for you: from a "normal" pedicure or manicure up to gel nails, eyelash extentsions, basic beauty treatments- all is possible, nothing a must :)
The whole experience was quick, convenient, and genuinely enjoyable. She even suggested a nail color for me, which turned out perfectly. I couldn’t have been happier with the result. If you find yourself nearby, I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by. The combination of quality, care, and friendliness truly makes this salon special.
