Staying true to yourself sometimes isn’t the easiest path to take, but always the right one 🫶

Don’t just go to Gamcheon without knowing this 👀

🏘️ Gamcheon features much more than a colourful appearance, as it’s true magic is hidden in winding, artistically decorated alleys all around

🗺️ Grab the tourist map at the entrance: there are 3 different routes to choose from

💮 Get the stamp map and start collecting them throughout the village via using your map, which makes exploring way more fun

🚌 Don’t stress about the hills: shuttle buses run up- and down the village all day

👀 Look closely: every corner, rooftop, mural contains paintings, sculptures or artistic decorations

☕️ Stop at a café with a panoramic view over the village and enjoy a frozen marshmallow ice cream (chocolate is the best!)

🖼️ Get a caricature picture of yourself done by one of the several artists

⌚️ Give yourself at least 2–4 hours to wander and soak in the beautiful atmosphere

Lastly: don’t spend your time only taking pictures; putting your phone away for some time is the simplest and easiest way make the most of your experience 🎨
